Tamiya have introduced their new Scania 770 S 8×4/4 1/14th truck. The kit recreates the Scania 770 S 8×4/4, a heavy-duty, eight-wheel-steer trailer with dual front and rear axles and a 16.4-liter turbocharged V8 engine rated at 770 hp, added in 2020 to Swedish manufacturer Scania’s top-of-the-range S-series. The vehicle features a highly realistic cab which – along with the side deflectors, roof, bumper and other parts – is pre-painted in gun metal color. The cab interior features a rounded dashboard and other details. Power is transmitted to the two rear axles via a 3-speed transmission, while the two front axles are steered by a single servo; the second axle is a lift axle that can be raised and lowered manually.
