Tamiya have announced the soon release of the new Hornet Evo 1/10th 2WD buggy, the updated version of The Hornet, originally released in 1984. The original ABS plastic chassis has been kept and is combined with 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and oil shocks, ensuring excellent handling. The sealed rear gearbox provides excellent protection against dust and is equipped with a 3-pinion differential for smooth cornering. Upper arms with turnbuckles allow precise camber adjustment to match track conditions.

Ball bearings ensure smooth, efficient running. Three-piece assembly wheels are paired with ribbed tires at the front and high-grip spiked tires at the rear. The durable, lightweight polycarbonate bodywork can be customized using the stickers supplied, which have been refreshed to mark the Hornet’s 40th anniversary.
