2024 ROAR 1:8 off-road electric Nationals were held at G’s RC raceway located in Shippensburg, PA, over the weekend. Spencer Rivkin (Team Associated/Reds Racing/Hobbywing/JConcepts) was the top qualifier in 1/8th E-buggy while Tater Sontag (TLR/Trinity/Nitrolux/Pro-Line Racing) took the overall TQ in the 1/8th E-truggy class. Spencer would not be able to convert the P1 spot into a win as Tater brought home the win after winning the first two finals while Aydin Horne (Team Associated/Reedy/1up Racing/Pro-Line Racing) and Spencer Heckert (Tekno RC/Protek/Hobbywing/VP Racing Fuels/ProMotion) rounded out the top 3 result.
Tater took advantage of his 1st spot on the grid to win the A1 final, but then it was Spenser’s turn to stand out, winning the last 2 finals and taking the overall win. Tater came in second and
Lee Setser (Team Associated/O.S.Engines/Reedy/JConcepts) completed the podium in third.
