The opening round of the popular 2024/25 Tekno 1/8th winter series was held at HobbyTown USA Hobbyplex indoor track located in Omaha, Nebraska, over the weekend. The event had a great turnout with 160 entries and in Expert 1/8th nitro buggy it was SWORKz’s Mason Fuller who took the overall TQ while Tekno RC racer Seth VanDalen was the top qualifier in the Expert 1/8th E-buggy class. After a good battle with Seth in the 30-minute final, Mason was able to win, leaving behind Seth in second and HB Racing driver Ashton Abdul in third.
E-buggy was another close battle with Kaden Fuller and Seth and Mason was able to win that as well. Kaden in 2nd and Seth in 3rd completed the podium result.
