2024 J5racing endurance race was held at HNMC track located on Westmill Farm site, Ware, UK.
First things first time to remember HNMC long standing committee member Karl Jackson the most helpful RC racer I ever knew J5racing will keep your memory going with HNMC. –
The team endurance race format:
5-8 drivers per team with one racing at a time for 7 hours, with one transponder being swapped between cars (apologies we should have selected used multipliable transponders, which caused problems later on). Each driver must do a minimum of 45 minutes.
The teams:
J5racing Team 1 (A team of pro and club racers)
J5racing Team 2 (Club racers and old pro racers)
Nemo Factory (Pro racers with young guns)
Nemo Factory (Club racers)
Herts RC models Shop Team (Club racers Herts RC field two team that should be equal)
Herts RC Models Racers (Club racers)
Remote World (Slough Club racers)
East Shrewsbury BRC (East Shrewsbury club racers)
Mixed Nutz (HNMC regular club racers)
Team X (HNMC regular club racers formally cool runnings)
Exceler8 Motorsport (BTCC team members + few ringers and 3 drivers that have never driven 1/8 nitro!)
South Coast HNMC Misfits (South coast club plus HNMC club racers)
Effectively two Pro teams and 9 club teams.
After 7 hours both J5racing and Nemo Factory both had transponder failures which lead to the team managers agreeing a draw was held. The battle of the club teams has raged all race between East Shrewsbury – Herts RC Shop team – Herts RC racers and J5racing team 2 with Herts RC racers taking it on the final laps.
