A tweaked layout was set by the HNMC track team for the second round of the popular HNMC winter series. Despite misty damp conditions all day, the event had a great turnout with 72 drivers from France and the UK. Qualifying went to Agama’s Erik Lykke in 1/8th nitro buggy while Darren Keeble (Team Associated) took the overall TQ in the 1/8th truggy class. WIRC racer Billy Grindley brught home the win in the nitro buggy final from the Agama duo of Kevin Brunsden and Erik, in second and third respectively.
Erik came out on top in E-buggy, leaving behind his brother Holger in second and Tekno driver Russ Brown in third.
Truggy final saw Darren taking the win in front of Kevin Goodman in second and Danny Lewington in third.
