The 15th annual Alabama Manufacturers Shootout was held at the Agricultural trade center located in Cullman, Alabama. The event attracted more than 350 entries and after three rounds of qualifying in the Pro nitro buggy and pro E-buggy classes, it was curent European champion Juan Carlos Canas with the overall TQ while another JConcepts racer, Ryan Maifield, was the top qualifier in Pro nitro truggy. Juan Carlos was able to convert the TQ spot into the win in the 45-minute nitro buggy final. Dakotah “The Phenom” Phend came in second 6s further while Juan Carlos’ teammate Mason Fuller ended the day in third.
Juan Carlos carried on his momentum and secured his second championship in Pro E-Buggy. Mugen Seiki’s Burak Kilic in second and Team Associated racer Spencer Rivkin in third rounded out the podium result.
Ryan Maifield took the grueling 45 minute Pro 1/8th truck A-Main with a top drive in the last part of the event. Dakotah, one of the leaders during the main finished 2nd while Spencer takes 3rd after a great A-Final. All 3 drivers chose JConcepts for the grip, support, and aero concerns.
